What I enjoy most about being a freelance writer:  I work on a broad range of projects and for many different types of publications.  So for the past twenty years, I have happily accepted all kinds of writing assignments:  parenting and family, lifestyle, decor, opinion, business, celebrity profiles, bridal...

Co-authored "Fast Track Networking" to be published in the spring of 2010 by Career Press.

Author of  "The Neighborhoods of Queens," published by Yale University Press in 2007.  The book was just re-released in paperback, and has been lauded by The New York Times, The Daily News, The New York Post and other local newspapers.     

I am Associate Editor of Long Island Parent magazine, the region's top resource for moms and dads.   

I'm founder/editor of Long Island's only bridal blog www.GettingMarriedonLongIsland.com.  

I'm a monthly columnist at www.Hamptons.com

In addition, for some fifteen years I've been a regular contributor to Newsday, writing Op-eds, business, parenting and now lifestyle features.   And I'm a member of the Society of Professional Journalists, The Authors Guild and Press Club of Long Island.
