My most recent book, Fast Track Networking: Turning Conversations into Contacts, was published by Career Press in June, 2010.  This was a collaborative effort with Lucy Rosen, who's been called the "Queen of Networking."  Lucy, who runs a successful marketing and public relations firm with offices on Long Island and Albaquerque, NM, is the founder of the women's networking group, Women on the Fast Track.  Chapters are opening throughout the country.  It's through Lucy's extensive knowledge and keen understanding of the business world, as well as her people skills, that I learned everything I now know about networking.  And that's quite a lot.

An intriguing project involving four years' worth of meticulous research and writing, The Neighborhoods of Queens was published by Yale University Press in November, 2007.   With an introduction by renowned historian Kenneth T. Jackson, the book covers the 99 neighborhoods of Queens, the nation's most diverse borough -- one which is teeming in history, cultural attractions, rich architecture, and fascinating people from all parts of the world.

The New York Times selected The Neighborhoods of Queens as one of its top seven for the 2007 holiday season. And it was recently well-reviewed in the Sunday New York Times Book Review, as a newly released paperback.

The New York Daily News called my book the bible of Queens.
