A familiar name to Long Islanders, for over three years I've regularly penned an Op-ed column in the Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper, Newsday.   My Op-ed topics have run the gamut and are generally pegged to current headlines: from teen drinking to teen starlets gone wild; from the tearing down of Shea Stadium to cell phone terrors on public transportation; from sex abuse in schools to school uniforms...

In addition, my opinion essays have run occasionally in other newspapers, including The New York Times and The Los Angeles Times.
