Parenting

As a single mother to three children -- two now juniors in college -- I have researched and written hundreds of articles on parenting and family issues.  I am now proud to continue my work for Long Island Parent magazine, as Associate Editor. Previously, I wrote for Newsday and for the monthly magazine, Newsday's Parents & Children, which folded in December of 2008. 

I'm also working on a book proposal based on my current real-life blended family, which consists of five teenagers.  The working title of the book is:  "Blended...Not Stirred.  Adventures in Joining Two Families, without Coming Unglued."
